UPDATED DUE TO COVID-19 Virus Parents please pick up all medications from school this Friday 3/27/20 from 10:00am-12:00pm. All medications left will be disposed of, in accordance with state and local guidelines. Please email your child’s homeroom teacher regarding student passwords. During this time of uncertainty, Cox Communications is helping families in need get connected to the internet through Connect2Compete programs. Effective Monday, March 16, we are providing: Limited-time, first two months free of Connect2Compete service, $ 9.95/month thereafter Until May 15, 2020, we are providing phone and remote desktop support through Cox Complete Care at no charge to provide peace of mind and ease for technology needs Resources for discounted, refurbished equipment through our association with PCs for People Please visit our P.T.A. office and join. Any parent that needs to pick-up students for early dismissal, please come to the office prior to 3:00 p.m, as we begin regular dismissal promptly at 3:20. DRINK SMART TO PLAY HARD Choose drinks with less added sugar. Teach kids how to recognize drinks that are high in added sugars. Encourage them to choose water instead of sugar-sweetened beverages. Kids should drink 2 to 3 cups of low-fat (1%) or fat-free milk a day, depending on age. CHOOSE MORE FRUITS & VEGGIES Offer kids fruits and vegetables during meals and snacks. Try new fruits and veggies together as a family. LIMIT SCREEN TIME Help kids discover fun ways to stay busy and active this summer. Limit TV and video game time to no more than 1-2 hours a day. GET ACTIVE Kids need at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day.
